Important results from the project

The project´s aim has been to create conditions for a more automated container handling without huge investments and a totally changed, sustainable way of working. This is a clear step towards Industry 4.0 for container terminals. The project´s objective has been to develop and demonstrate MySpreader - a solution for sustainable container handling. We have fulfilled the project objective and demonstrated MySpreader with successful results.

Expected long term effects

Results include: - proof of the functionality of the MySpreader system and that it meets potential customers´ requirements. - development of a smart system that can work commercially and that can handle exchanges between several parties in an anonymized way. Expected effect is that we can provide customers with a complete solution for maintenance and repair of the entire spreader fleet. MySpreader provides a greatly simplified opportunity to build spreader maintenance into superior industry 4.0 solutions when customers are ready for it. This can contribute to increased sales.
