Important results from the project

The project gave the results we had planned, but also new ones. A change of ownership gave us more resources. At the same time, the headquarters of a large global company moved here. We acted proactively and created a process to collaborate with them, universities and research centers. This has created strong networks. The collaboration is expected to attract more companies and strengthen our position. Our ability to quickly adapt to changes has laid the foundation for future growth.

Expected long term effects

In the longer term, we expect that this new ecosystem will attract more high-quality companies to our activities, which will strengthen our position in the region. The new, structured method of working with the companies in the incubator gives them unique opportunities and a direct link to a global player. This has laid the foundation for sustainable growth and positioned us well for future challenges. It strengthens our position as an industry and energy focused incubator.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented according to plan, but we refined our values-driven incubator process. The companies’ development pace and ability to adapt quickly increased significantly, which showed that these were the right activities. External factors, such as a change in ownership and the relocation of a global corporation’s headquarters, positively affected the project. The unexpected opened up new, valuable collaborations that were not planned, but enabled a very successful adaptation.
