Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a complete and competitive application for the EIC Accelerator Open Call for NanoEcho’s innovation in the diagnosis of rectal cancer. The project includes the preparation of both a short proposal and a full application.
Expected effects and result
The planning project includes work on project structure, budget framework, risk analysis, and identification of relevant clinical partners. Through this planning process, the foundation is laid for the main project — aimed at advancing the innovation from TRL 6 to TRL 8 — to achieve maximum clinical and commercial impact, as well as to increase the likelihood of obtaining market approval within the EU.
Planned approach and implementation
The support from Vinnova co-finances the development of a complete EIC Accelerator application. The planning project includes preparation of a Short Proposal, followed by a Full Application. The project will be conducted in collaboration with GAEU Consulting, providing strategic guidance and regulatory expertise. If the full application is approved, it could result in substantial funding for NanoEcho’s continued clinical validation and commercialization.
