Purpose and goal

The project has clarified current circumstances that surrounds Triple Steelix work in internationalization issues in the perspective from member companies. Furthermore how these circumstances involves RnD-functions regionally, nationally and globally. Also in which issues that such functions are being used. Knowledge from this has thereby contributed to an overall strategy of how Triple Steelix should work with internationalization and thus which function in different fields of work the organization has in regard to relevant stakeholders.

Results and expected effects

The obvious effects that the project establish are several. Apart from a clear documented view about member companies conditions and performance, a overview and networkconfiguration clarify the linkage between the actors in the region is obtained. Thereby a knowledge about international linkages as well as the dynamics between companies and RnD-functions give the setting for future development projects.

Approach and implementation

The project had contributed to a new way, in both method as well as toolbox, for Triple Steelix to take the development projects and other workfields to a highly specialized international context. The circumstances and conditions that the project have revealed give the potential to make Triple Steelix operational work a precursor at an international level. Also an example in how to refine innovation processes in collaborations between companies and other RnI-invironments.
