Purpose and goal

SVAK will develop and pilot a process for establishing a structured, strategic, and long-term dialogue between industry stakeholders and Vocational Education decision-makers. The aim is to enhance the alignment of skills development with the needs of Swedish industry, improve conditions for local and regional labor markets, and support the attraction and training of skills and expertise that are currently underrepresented in the sector.

Expected effects and result

The goal is to create a project plan for an implementation initiative that will further develop, validate, document, and design the SVAK model, ensuring it becomes scalable and adaptable for use by other municipalities and companies. In the short term, the project is expected to have a positive impact on local skills supply systems. Over the longer term, it aims to produce systemic effects, as social planning and industry development plans become better aligned.
