Important results from the project

The project advanced the growth of over 50 research-driven Life Science companies. Improved processes, broader networks and strengthened collaborations enhanced the incubator’s offering. Gender equality initiatives led to more female entrepreneurs. The companies progressed in key areas such as scalable business models, team development and sustainability, while attracting venture capital and soft funding essential for growth.

Expected long term effects

The incubator companies’ progress in new therapies, diagnostics and technologies contributes significantly to patient and societal benefit through improved health, job creation and increased economic growth. Formalized collaborations, both nationally and internationally, with incubators, investors and expert networks strengthen the incubator’s value proposition. Together, these efforts reinforce Sweden’s innovation capacity, entrepreneurial ecosystem and role as a global Life Science nation.

Approach and implementation

The project followed the plan and was based on a structured incubator process including tailored business advisory, training programs, coaching in sustainability and recurring events such as investor days. Collaborations and knowledge exchange with other incubators provided additional insights. The approach proved successful and has established a solid foundation for further developing the incubator and for long-term support of future research-based Life Science companies.
