Important results from the project
SNITTS purpose is to strengthen the individuals and organisations that work, both strategic and hands on with knowledge exchange and dissemination of research. Through professional development of the individuals, and together with our members find the processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of the utilization of research, SNITTS creates value and growth in Sweden. The result of this project has been member growth as well as new collaborations. The greatest achievement has been in our project regarding collaboration; which is now an integrated part of SNITTS offering.
Expected long term effects
In 2016: 51 people attended educational courses, 185 people attended the annual conference ‘Innovation by Collaboration’, 74 people attended our workshops and seminars. In most activities we have observed a considerable increase in attendance, compared with the start of the project. Collaboration is an integrated part in SNITTS activities and support to our members. Furthermore, by hosting the ASTP-Proton Fall Meeting, SNITTS has further established itself on the international arena and can offer International education and network opportunities for our members.
Approach and implementation
During 2016 SNITTS has, on top of regular activity, focused on internal organizational development, strengthened the dialogue with our members and expanded our offer regarding research utilization and collaboration as well as new areas of knowledge emphasizing the global issues. Our activities always reflect the needs of members and are developed in close collaboration with the members. Also, SNITTS strengthened contact with surrounding organisations is expected to result in more collaborative activities.
