Purpose and goal

This project focuses on the systemic problems surrounding the inaccessible leisure time for young people with disabilities, and is being implemented in collaboration between Haninge municipality and the non-profit associations Passalen and Inkludera. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the health of the municipality´s young people - using leisure time as a tool. The goal is to land in a chain of change.

Expected effects and result

Haninge, in collaboration with Passalen, is already doing solid work to include children and young people with various disabilities in open leisure time. Now we see a need to also demonstrate – and strengthen – the benefits of the work, that is, the connection to health that participation has, in order to legitimize the work and ensure maximum effect. - A developed chain of change - A clear action plan - Generalizable insights that can be spread to other municipalities

Planned approach and implementation

The first work package of the project is about mapping and creating the change chain. The work focuses on identifying gaps and strengthening the links between the different parts of the chain, as well as how the work can be measured and followed up. In the next work package, a concrete action plan will be developed. In both work packages, several interviews with relevant stakeholders will be held for further input into the process.
