Important results from the project
To test a new model for collective travel based on enterprising citizens, an innovative platform technology, and a new form of association support where municipalities provide tools, training and support structures to citizens and associations, which in turn create and operate new digital service platforms for shared mobility. This has been achieved through new knowledge of the model´s way of catalyzing citizen-driven service development and an increased interest in shared mobility in the local communities where the activities have taken place.
Expected long term effects
By creating incentives and opportunities for citizens and associations to develop platforms and services for shared mobility in their local communities, and at the same time create knowledge about how municipalities can stimulate and support these new forms of collaboration, the project has led to a number of new collective platform-based mobility solutions, and to more citizens and associations becoming involved and finding solutions to each other´s mobility problems. In the long run, this can strengthen Sweden as a more innovative country in terms of shared mobility.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The implementation has consisted of activities to further develop and test the project´s digital tools, service platforms and collaboration model for citizen- and association-driven solutions for shared mobility. These have also been implemented in a good way through collaboration between platform-oriented digitization researchers, a municipality oriented towards citizen and association driven site development and renewal processes and an SME oriented towards tools for open digital sharing and service platforms.
