Important results from the project
Our goal was to build a small, specialized consortium to apply for the EIC Transition Open 2025 call. We met this goal, but do not yet know if our proposal will be selected. We have further developed our code and identified ways to help innovators work together.
Expected long term effects
Our long term goal is to increase the commercialization rates of European innovations across a wide range of technologies. We seek to do so by creating new consortia of like-minded European innovators that have developed complementary technologies. If successful, we aim to help reduce Europe´s innovation gap with the US and China.
Approach and implementation
The project largely went as planned, although the time spent to write the actual EIC Transition proposal was larger than budgeted. Because the EIC proposal was due in September, summer vacations imposed a different distribution of work than what was originally intended. This challenge was amplified with the inclusion of continental European partners, who take vacation after the typical Swedish vacation period. The collaboration basically functioned as expected.
