Important results from the project
The overall goal for the project (to engage industry, academia and the public sector in both countries) has been achieved. Through the outreach activities, networking and matchmaking, several new collaborations were initiated. The platform has been put in place and the international networks have been strengthened.
Expected long term effects
The results of the project were the strengthening of the SBII platform with new networking and communications channels and activities. The expected effects will be the establishment of additional collaboration for innovation to strengthen industries in both Sweden and Brazil.
Approach and implementation
The platform and project has been designed with RISE as the coordinator and project leader with other organizations in collaboration. This has been administratively challenging for RISE however has been effectively managed. As the program grows with participating partners in both countries, the approach needs to be further analyzed.
