Important results from the project

In this project, the Quicab has been developed to meet the new conditions prevailing for certain types of passenger transport in large cities. In collaboration with companies in Paris and Dublin, Quicabs are used to transport different customer categories with different requirements. The vehicle offers a new way of traveling for those looking for a low risk of infection. In addition, the vehicle contributes to better accessibility, less congestion, safe and flexible travel and less climate impact, and opens up new job opportunities for people with limited academic qualifications.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has exceeded the expected results by establishing demonstrations in two European capital cities. In both cities there is a hope of being able to greatly increase the number of Quicabs in the future. Thanks to these demonstrations, Quicab has received requests from additional actors in other cities.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has been conducted in a flexible manner as the external factors have varied greatly during the project period. This has meant that the project members have changed during the course, but the outcome has still been secured and even exceeded the original expectations. The scope of the project has also been expanded to meet the needs of the new project members. This applies above all to the completion of development of the driver´s weather protection. All parties are very satisfied with the implementation and outcome of the project.
