Important results from the project
The trip was conducted in accordance with the application. The trip consisted of 3 main elements: (1) SEO education at Linkedin´s HQ, (2) investor meetings, (3) 1 day´s participation in the Vinnova-sponsored TINC program (in which Populum already had 1 full-time participant).
Expected long term effects
The overall result was in accordance with expectations. SEO insights from the Linkedin workshop are under implementation in the company, together with marketing automation / growth insights from the Vinnova-sponsored TINC program. Unfortunately no clear/measurable effect from the investor meetings to date. In total, a very good and valuable trip.
Approach and implementation
It was highly valuable for the company to be able to send 2 colleagues to Silicon Valley and gain synergies with the Vinnova-sponsored TINC program. It was also valuable to visit San Francisco Bay Area with the purpose of gathering the latest insights/trends in SEO and marketing automation (via Linkedin). The investor meetings have unfortunately not resulted in any measurable outcome - to succeed with this, a longer period of relationship building is probably required (more than the 3-4 days enabled by the Resebidrag).
