Purpose and goal

R2B´s aim and objective is to promote the utilization of research through collaboration between researchers and industry. By increasing collaboration between academia and industry, research must be translated into innovations and business development, which will contribute to Sweden´s competitiveness and positive societal development.

Expected effects and result

Med R2B works IVA for: -system changes and strengthened conditions for increased utilization of academic research. -clearer funding to support research results that are surrounded by technical complexity and high risk. -exposure of research that shows a sustainable and resilient transition in society with potential to create economic and societal values. -the development of the support functions for utilization and innovation -work for increased diversity and gender equality -make results visible. Share, communicate and dialogue with participating parties in R2B.

Planned approach and implementation

R2B is being developed to be a platform that promotes transparency in current research and supports collaboration that leads to innovations and business development to strengthen Swedish competitiveness. R2B´s most central and supporting activity is IVA´s 100 list together with the meeting places R2B Summit and Sessions. Among the project´s other activities, R2B Kunskap can be mentioned, where seminars, roundtable discussions and similar activities are carried out, which often aim to share experiences and knowledge and drive policy development.
