Purpose and goal
The project aims to lay the foundation for a plastics contract focusing on the management of glass fiber composite, with a particular focus on recycling and reuse. The starting point is the wind power sector´s growing need for sustainable solutions for the management of end-of-life wind turbine blades made of glass fiber composite. The project brings together relevant actors and expertise to jointly address these challenges.
Expected effects and result
Lay the foundation for a plastics contract, which enables a more resource-efficient and circular management of fiberglass composite wind turbine blades.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is organized into four work packages:
AP1- Project management, coordination and stakeholder mobilization
AP2 - Development of plastic contracts and circular solutions
AP3 - Verification and testing of plastic contracts in collaboration with industry stakeholders
AP4 - Handover and implementation
