Important results from the project
The aim of the project was to create a minimal prototype with the help of feedback from schools and schedulers, thereby reducing the financial risk of future private investments. During the year three pilot projects were carried out with paying customers and a so-called minimum viable product was created based on the feedback we received. In addition to this, we also started a fruitful collaboration with SchoolSoft, one of the largest players in the Swedish school market. Thus, we consider the goal of the project to be met.
Expected long term effects
During the year, we joined a collaboration with SchoolSoft. We will jointly market and sell to their current customer network. With the help of the collaboration, we have become a more interesting candidate for investment. In the future, we will seek funding to expand our scheduling algorithm to other markets: both the international school market but also to try other verticals, such as scheduling in hospitals and shift work.
Approach and implementation
We received a very positive response from our product and have learned exactly what functionality the schools need. With the integration, SchoolSoft will handle frontend development and most of the support. This reduces our work to deliver the scheduling algorithm via an API, we could then build an MVP faster and with fewer direct customers.
