Purpose and goal

The Research School Produktion2030 aims to provide Sweden and Swedish industry and higher education institutions with advanced cutting-edge expertise in the field of production. The Research School is open to both industrial doctoral students and traditional academic research students and currently has over 240 members. This project application enables the program to be strengthened with an additional 10 courses.

Expected effects and result

• At least 10 courses additionally available Effects (2-5 years): • Continued coordination of graduate schools in the production area • Continuously inventorying the skills gap between needs and existing courses • Developed new courses to fill skills gaps • More people at graduate level in the production area Effects (5-12 years): • Increased mobility between academia/industry • Increased access to skills in the production area • More people investing in sustainable production in Sweden

Planned approach and implementation

The project is coordinated through Halmstad University. A reference group composed of representatives selected by the Swedish The project is coordinated through Halmstad University. A reference group composed of representatives selected by the Swedish Production Academy supports the graduate school´s coordination and quality assurance and collects the need for new courses.. Graduate students are represented in particular by the chairman of the Swedish Production Academy´s student network.
