Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the feasibility study was partly to gain a better grasp of the development of the transport and energy system and the challenges associated and partly to build a constellation of stakeholders. The project´s overall objective was to create a platform for collaboration that can accelerate electrification of the transport network in Västerås. The project resulted in a broad constellation of stakeholders and a list of what challenges need to be handled in the municipality in the near future.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** During the project, a number of areas that require further development have been identified. Partly through work by the project partners, in collaboration between different project partners and through the workshops that have been arranged. A number of possible project to further develop have been identified and the City of Västerås has been identified as a suitable organization to coordinate new project in which the identified stakeholders can participate.
Approach and implementation
The project was divided into several work packages. As input to the work packages, two workshops were held to which a wide range of relevant stakeholders were invited. The main themes addressed were challenges in digitalization, services, the need for charging stations, lack of standards, perceived shortcomings in regulations, the municipality´s role and need for collaboration. The projects setup with project partners from different sectors together with information from the workshops provided a good basis for further projects and provided a good constellation of stakeholders.
