Purpose and goal

The value of the co-creation must be analyzed with qualitative methods. To evaluate the impact of co-creation on society and university, one needs to distinguish between initiatives, condition, activity and results. Appropriate methods for co-creation needs to be developed, where gender and ethnicity are important aspects. Within MHD Living Lab@IPR interactive research methods will be developed further along with external organizations. We take departure from the Knowledge Triangle and involves users throughout the entire production chain.

Expected results and effects

The result has led to a deeper understanding of the need to evaluate the collaboration and co-production based on qualitative analysis which takes into account the benefits for the parties involved and the mutual exchange of knowledge; and how it has contributed to the solutions and new knowledge. The project has gain understanding of how theories of gender and ethnicity can contribute to increased insight and involvement of diversity in collaborative projects.

The project was conducted by using qualitative methods. A comprehensive international literature review in the field has resulted in a journal paper. A number of evaluation models for cooperation have been studied and analyzed.
