Purpose and goal
The purpose is to strengthen Sweden’s talent supply and innovation power by developing and testing an AI-driven platform that automates the entire work permit process between candidate and employer. The goal is to create a legally compliant, efficient, and inclusive process that reduces costs, and increases access to highly qualified international talent for Swedish companies.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to deliver a fully functional employer portal where AI automatically manages work permit cases with high accuracy. Expected impacts include reduced administration, fewer resubmissions, and significantly shorter processing times. On a societal level, it strengthens Sweden’s talent supply, equality, and innovation capacity.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is divided into three work packages: (1) Development of an AI-based employer portal and MVP integration (Nov–Dec 2025). (2) Pilot with at least five Swedish employers in real cases (Jan 2026). (3) Evaluation of impact and gender equality using the NOVA model and policy dissemination (Feb 2026). Continuous KPI tracking ensures measurable results and scalability.
