Project duration November 2024 - November 2024
Status Completed

Important results from the project

The project exceeded the expectations and goals set from the start. Through the participation of "Discovery Track" and Agri-Food Expo in Singapore, Seaqure Labs had the opportunity to explore collaboration opportunities with Singaporean organizations in the food and agriculture industry. Insights were gained into how the Singapore government promotes international innovation, which actors are important in the aquaculture and protein sector, and support and financing opportunities in the region.

Expected long term effects

An unexpected, valuable results were the synergies discovered with companies from the Business Finlands delegation, which proved to be relevant for future developments in the food and biotech sector. Furthermore, potential cooperation opportunities were identified with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, as well as with the SFA. This has led to a plan to contact those responsible at NTU´s innovation center etc. to explore joint development of solutions in aquaculture.

Approach and implementation

The arrangement was primarily made possible by us participating in Business Swedens´s schedule and traveling around and visiting many relevant organizations, technology parks, and companies in Singapore that all work with innovation in agri-food. The project therefore developed by meeting many competent people, creating future strategies and ideas for potential future collaborations. We followed the schedule well and it was well executed by Business Sweden. Everything worked as intended.
