Project duration April 2013 - October 2013
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

To create a technical platform and user friendly application for managing sales data, interactive for analyzing statistics from pharmaceutical sales. The aim was to deliver tailored drug statistics at a reasonable price, in order to influence the existing monopoly. Increasing price setting for sales statistics is detrimental for poorly resourced companies, making them less competitive. We have also set up the business for the service part focusing on better utilization of the unique sales data, aiming to help players make sound decisions.

Results and expected effects

Our customized and interactive product and service portfolio has been demonstrated for several clients and will be launched and offered to all swedish pharmaceutical companies starting in january 2014. There has been a great interest in our offer and we already have ongoing contractual discussions with several companies.

Approach and implementation

We have, in close collaboration with customers, made a requirement analysis regarding sales data and analysis of pharmaceutical statistics to identify critical needs and desired features for our future product and services. A technical platform has been created for collection, storage and delivery of data and the system has been automated to handle daily updated data. An interactive web application has been developed with new features and services that focus on ease of use, visual interface and customized statistics.
