Purpose and goal

Sirona has in cooperation with ten municipalities developed Omsorgsanalys to improve the quality of elderly care service in Sweden. The aim of this project was to take this innovative way of working with quality data to the next level. The purpose was to implement Omsorgsanalys in ten chosen municipalities. Omsorgsanalys has been made available and used actively. One goal was for the participating municipalities to finance the continuing use by themselves. Dialogues with additional municipalities have been initiated and have shown that they see a great value in the product.

Results and expected effects

The aim, and expected results of this project was to take this innovative way of working with quality data to the next level. The purpose was to implement Omsorgsanalys in ten chosen municipalities as a part of further developing their quality of care service delivery. The project has contributed to achieve the purpose of the project and given Sirona the opportunity to invest and continue develop the tool, adjust it according to the municipalities needs and implement it as a part of their strategic quality development

Approach and implementation

Sirona has developed initial situation analysis for the participating municipalities. The analysis highlighted possible areas of improvement and strategies to reach their goals. Workshops has been held in cooperation with the municipalities and will continue during the spring. In addition the function and benefits of Omsorgsanalys has been demonstrated to a additional municipalities. All of the activities will continue during 2013.
