Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project has been to develop and technically validate a solution to radically improve the signal quality in today´s ECG solutions to be able to enable real-time measurement of ECG during normal daily activity. The project has succeeded well with the goal and also had a study published that shows radical differences in measurement results compared to today´s techniques.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has succeeded in producing very good results with validated prototypes and a well-conducted and published study. Identified product types generated from the project are now much closer to production and will be able to contribute to changing the global view of the usefulness of the ECG during normal daily activity. It can also mean great relief in healthcare, not least for inpatients with 24/7 monitoring where false alarms are so common today that it is considered a work environment problem.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project´s approach has been well-functioning and proved useful. The implementation has largely been affected by COVID-19 pandemic but nevertheless managed to generate very good results. The conditions with COVID-19 have placed great requirements on flexibility within the project, not least for actors in healthcare sector, but it has been possible to solve. The project partners are satisfied with both the project layout and implementation.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
