Important results from the project
The project´s primary goal was fully achieved. The EIC Accelerator Short Proposal was submitted on 23 March 2026 (Proposal ID 101336216). The Long Proposal is ~95% complete, with submission planned for September 2026. A consortium with partners in Sweden and multiple EU countries is being established.
Expected long term effects
If the EIC application is granted, NjordFeed will deploy 10 pilot systems across five EU countries and commercially launch its platform for real-time forage quality analysis. The technology supports reduced feed waste and lower climate impact in European dairy and meat production, aligned with the EU Green Deal and Farm-to-Fork strategy.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out in Nov-Mars for Short Proposal, pitch deck and pitch film, and Mars-April for Long Proposal and consortium construction. EIC changed its process structure during the project period, which shifted the focus to Q1–Q2 2026. Short Proposal was submitted on time. The collaboration with Agroväst worked well.
