Purpose and goal
The direct result from the project will be the development of a new generation of doctor blades used for high speed printing processes. An industrial applicable process for the electrochemical production of the precise nano-dispersion coatings required for reaching this task will be developed and adjusted. Spin-off from the new coating technology to other application fields having parts exposed to sliding wear (automotive, tools, micro systems) is intended by the partners.
