Purpose and goal
Professors Henrik Hagberg and Carina Mallard have already established a strong research center in Gothenburg University for perinatal brain injury with world renowned expertise. The current proposed collaboration with Prof. Harvey Cantor at Harvard Medical School to study the role of adaptive immunity in neonatal brain injury will significantly strengthen the perinatal research in Gothenburg. It will give a unique chance for the applicant to fulfill her potential and promote a senior position.
