Important results from the project
MSC will develop, sell and manufacture a modular mobile self-supporting hall system in composite with the ability to meet the stringent requirements for a functional and energy efficient environment. Until the start of the project, MCS made two halls of 70 square meters n made as a pre-series in a prototype workshop of 300 sq m. The goal of the project is to take our activity from prototype stage to a business in serial production. It means developing both product and production and training of personnel has reached the point that rational series production is done with high qualities.
Expected long term effects
MCS hangar systems have in terms of product refined to fit serie produktion. Casting process has been developed for the RTM technology for the new tool and tuned in to by a good margin to produce one module per day. The production system handles data from receipt of order, material storage, production and unloading including the labeling of RFID tags for traceability. Overall, a working serial production with a supporting production - and quality. Furthermore, we have developed the technology to deliver to the customer with the installation / erection on site.
Approach and implementation
Materials selection was made with selected suppliers. Two halls were built as pre-series in which the customer agreed that there remained certain things to the design that was tested out. Partnerships were developed with two companies a hire service and installation company. This provided a good market channel and a partner who stood for the delivery and erection which has been a very big advantage for our business concept to quickly gain a foothold in the market. MCS was thus able to focus on product and production and we now have a streamlined production and developed a keen interest.
