Important results from the project
The Vinn Nu project has been executed in a good way and Acconeer has identified suitable markets for introduction of their patent pending technology. During this project we have evaluated the markets for non-destructive testing, security screening, process management, and short range communication. The main activity has been to conduct market research by talking to stakeholders within each market, but also to search for information using the internet and databases. The result from the project has been communicated to the board of the company.
Expected long term effects
The main goal for the project was to find suitable target markets. This has been achieved by identifying 4 different markets and developing a strategy on how to address them. We have for each market investigated competing technology and found that we provide unique customer value.
Approach and implementation
We have during the course of the project visited and discussed with stakeholders within the different markets. The work has in a good way followed the plan defined at project start, considering that Acconeer is in a stage where new opportunities are constantly evaluated. As potential customers have been identified in the market research we have focused parts of the business development on answering specific questions, defined by these customers, regarding the specification of our future product.
