|Project duration||December 2018 - October 2020|
Purpose and goal
The purpose is to develop modularised management and technology oriented courses for additive manufacturing. The target group consists of professional engineers with at least a bachelors degree. Three management and three technology courses (2.5 hp) are planned. The courses will provided the students with an ability to understand the technology, ability to identify how the technology can be used to improve companies’ product portfolio and business models.
Expected results and effects
The new courses complement existing courses in Sweden, especially by offering management courses and technology courses on advanced level. The aim is that the project’s actors will develop a capacity to contribute to lifelong learning for professional engineers by running courses consisting of short lectures, recordings, podcasts, and digitalized knowledge- ability oriented tests.
Planned approach and implementation
The courses will be developed by actors from Halmstad University and University West, additive manufacturing experts and users enrolled in SVEAT, and pedagogical expertise from HPC from Halmstad University. Courses will be developed in a series of workshops and usability tests.
