Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal was to validate the use of magnetic beads for the purification of biomolecules and cells on a large scale. That this works on a laboratory and pilot scale has been shown via publications from the AdBIOPRO work. The challenge now was to prove this as scalable and economically defensible via a technical / economic study together with University College London who are world authorities in the area. This has now been presented and presented via a specific invitation to PepTalk 2022 San Diego 2022-01-17.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The study resulted in evidence that MAGicBead´s technology can purify mAbs with up to 40% lower COGs and an equally much higher yield. With the presentation of this data to the market, we expect that a larger number of customers will want to start using our products / technologies. This was immediately evident at the presentation of Peptalk 2022, we see that new customers will be a fast results.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project was planned together with UCL and a plan was made for what basic data was needed to make correct estimates. Everything would then be processed in UCL´s validated calculation models. This was done in group work and data was generated in a number of iterations when reviewing various parameters. UCL had all the data for standard processes so that the calculations would be correct. After careful review, it turned out that the results were correct and credible and both we and UCL were satisfied with the results.
