Important results from the project
Was achieved by writing an innovation project application and creating a larger consortium between the institutes. Also, through exchanging the ideas of current trends and research between the partners and visiting the research facilities to strengthen the competence and knowledge.
Expected long term effects
Through diversity and social acceptance, increasing the benefits in mining regions and the qualification of the researchers. Also, increasing competitiveness of the Swedish mining industry, education, research, and innovation.
Approach and implementation
Preparation work connected to future application with potential partners from Poland, Finland and Spain went according to plan. Topics and areas related to education and sustainable energy transition, energy storage, together with the interaction between the technology and workers/organisation, were addressed. Separate travels were undertaken to each partner to attend workshop sessions and visits to laboratories/facilities.
