Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project was to facilitate smoother negotiation and communication between artist and booker via Gigital´s digital marketplace for artist bookings. We would make it easier for the artist to get a job certified with agreements that the artist can handle without intermediaries and agents. We also wanted to ensure that no information about the booking is lost and that the event is performed correctly. Offering this service has given Gigital a stronger position in the market, as users´ booking process has been improved and simplified significantly.
Expected results and effects
The users who have taken advantage of the newly launched Communication and Negotiation Service have uniquely provided positive feedback and are looking forward to further development of this particular part of Gigital´s service offering. We have given the artists the opportunity to handle what was previously an administrative burden in an easy way. Our customers have had the opportunity to avoid long negotiation processes that go through countless intermediaries and instead can very easily book the artists who fit them, safely where no information is lost.
Planned approach and implementation
The adjustment in the agreement is made by the booker based on the artist´s comments on the original booking request. Both parties follow the hearing in a specific agreement box that is linked to the parties´ shared chat. This system allows both artist and booker to review the latest changes in real time and accept the final terms of the termination. By accepting the terms, the reservation will be confirmed, which is valid until the performer´s performance is completed.
