Important results from the project
Irdtravel AB through its brand Instaroom has successfully launched an AI product that saves hotels tens of thousands of hours per year in answering frequently asked questions. Instarooms FAQ Bot has been launched in the Dutch Caribbean, Bali, Thailand and Germany and the results has been very positive from the client side as well as the end user. Instaroom is now continuing its rapid growth and will launch an upgraded AI product in Q1 2019 which will help hotels to automate complex bookings; a “booking assistant” that helps hotels to effectively convert complex bookings.
Expected long term effects
We have successfully integrated our system to the different components required for automated messaging flows between hotels and their end users. Our BOT flows have already saved hotels thousands of hours, and in addition we have effectively distributed our BOTs to numerous different markets at low cost. In other words, we have successfully built a stabile system which is globally scalable. We have also built distribution partnership with multiple hotel technology platforms.
Approach and implementation
We have successfully launched our AI platform globally. We have also built distribution partnerships with multiple leading technology platforms, and we are now also in final discussions with a leading hotel technology company in the Nordics that wants to introduce our solution to their 1000+ hotel clients. In terms of technology we have been working effectively through a clear structure and communication plan. Johan Hammer has been the overall product manager and responsible of the development of the AI platform. Daily stands have been a very successful structure for our product team.
