Important results from the project
The purpose of the project has been to plan, implement and evaluate a pilot of a process management program with a focus on innovation work in collaboration at five universities and to increase innovation and collaboration skills at support- and management functions to create business and community benefits through innovation work in collaboration between actors from i.a. academia, business and other relevant stakeholders. The objectives have largely been met. When this did not happen, it was mainly due to the fact that the number of participants was not as large as expected.
Expected long term effects
After conducting four meetings for the support functions and three meetings for the management functions to create an understanding of the subject and provide knowledge about which tools can be used in the innovation management work, the focus was shifted to work with strategies for collaboration and see more what needs and conditions exist. at each university. This was done jointly for all participants on two occasions, one of which included a presentation of a department at an US university. The project ended with separate work that resulted in action plans for continued work.
Approach and implementation
Three phases: Requirement analysis Activities for support function - Value creation, collaboration and concept - Processes and innovation promotion cultures - Tools and methods - Previous experiences Activities for management - Commercial raising, value creation, collaboration and concept - Processes and innovation promotion culture - Previous experience - Efforts for all institutions and for each institution separately to carry out initiatives based on needs . The last part was not done for The university college in Borås due to too low staffing for the effort to be meaningful.
