Important results from the project
The innovation cluster enabled thousands of meetings between startups, investors and business leaders, which led to new collaborations, deals and investments. Brought together national and international investors for increased connection to global capital. In total, two entrepreneurial competitions, an accelerator program, over 100 niche events and 200 program items with a focus on knowledge, capital and growth. The cluster attracted international delegations to experience Swedish innovation
Expected long term effects
The cluster has strengthened the Swedish innovation ecosystem by increasing access to networks throughout the country, even outside the big cities. Increased international exposure for Swedish startups and attracted investors. Through knowledge-raising efforts and collaboration, the cluster has promoted growth, investments and collaborations – which together strengthens Swedish innovation and competitiveness. The cluster has created interfaces between academia, business and the public sector.
Approach and implementation
The innovation cluster´s activities were carried out according to plan and within the timeframes set. In addition, additional activities were carried out that were not initially planned but arose during the work, including activities aimed at investors and relevant international actors.
