Important results from the project

A total of 41 incubator companies have developed through the incubator process. It has strengthened many companies and accelerated their development and value creation despite the tough business climate during the pandemic and recession. The project has also contributed to deeper regional and national cooperation and strengthened efforts on innovative business ideas and entrepreneurs at an early stage. For Inkubera, this has also led to two new strategic focusareas in AI and LifeScience.

Expected long term effects

A number of companies that achieve further success and sustainable growth in the market, increased employment and increased tax revenues. More entrepreneurs who succeed, some with their current effort others succeed even better in their next effort based on the experience they have gained. More role models for new startups. A stronger and more competitive business environment with more innovative companies that also succeed internationally.

Approach and implementation

Focus on the incubation process for selected companies within Vinnova´s target group. The companies have received active business development support with access to business coachs and specialists, support in financing and investment processes, access to regional, national and international networks and contacts, as well as validation and verification activities. The companies have been able to accelerate their development and value creation and have increased opportunities to succeed.
