** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The aim of the project is to, in collaboration between small and medium-sized manufacturing companies, their customers and expertise in the environmental field, support and demonstrate the implementation and application of appropriate environmental standards in some guiding industries / companies. Developed data for upstream impact must be reliable and possible to use in an EPD, but also for a downstream company to be able to use in its climate report or in a product passport.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has shown that it is possible to produce data that enables a company to provide reliable and credible information to customers. The project recommends that climate information be based on the iso 14020 standards, that PCR rules be used, calculation according to the accounting perspective and system boundary is rock-to-gate.

Approach and implementation

Inventory of environmental data has been carried out for four companies The methodology for collecting data has been tested within four companies. Based on data, data has been produced that enables the company to easily calculate and communicate environmental information based on product level to the customer. The conclusion is that it is possible to simplify the collection of data. However, validated data is needed as this contributes to reliability. Dialogue with other actors confirm that there is a great need for scandal to be able to work for reduced climate impact in the value chain.
