Important results from the project

In the project "Inclusive innovation in the mining industry", we wanted to create the conditions for a long-term, sustainable mining industry by harnessing the best ideas from both women and men, by developing a training package consisting of self-instructional digital training for those who will write and apply for project at Swedish mining innovation. I April In 2022, we launched what we call "The learning journey", which is based on the latest research on learning. It was then published on Swedish mining innovation´s website for everyone who is looking for a project to take part in.

Expected long term effects

We can see that we have about 25 unique users of the platform today, when we cleaned out the project group, Swedish mining innovation and other obvious spam addresses, so there are users for the site, even if we wished there were more. We believe the platform has great potential to develop even more - for other target groups and for other topics and hope we can find funding for it. We also believe that significantly more can be done to market the platform, which there was not much budget for in this project.

Approach and implementation

Considering the budget that the project had, we succeeded beyond expectations in delivering a new platform for learning linked to equality integration and norm-creative innovation. In the project, there are researchers and/or experts both in design, learning, norm criticism and programming, and we produced our own content in the form of films and exercises. This allowed us, with a small budget, to create a fantastic platform, but good content.
