Purpose and goal

The project´s aim is to - by conducting a systems analysis of the public health system that involves the target group itself as well as enablers and perspective-givers from academia, the public and civil sectors - gain a better understanding of the processes, norms, policies, structures, behaviors and conditions that contribute to people living in socio-economic vulnerability having worse public health than the rest of the population.

Expected effects and result

The hope is that a systems analysis of them can contribute to understanding the complexity of the problem, but also to identifying possible solutions. Simply put: by understanding the problem at its core and gaining insight into how different processes interact, new and innovative interventions can be identified that can contribute to better health and increased well-being for people in socio-economic vulnerability.

Planned approach and implementation

Within the project, a system analysis will be carried out, which during the first phase includes a knowledge inventory and a actor mapping. The next step is the empirical collection phase, where we will use interviews and workshops to gain new knowledge and insight into the system and at the same time involve and engage key actors in the work. At the end of the study, the analysis work will begin with a focus on conducting cross-analysis and identifying that can transform the system.
