Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to initiate a change process to increase innovation and commercialization of innovations in Värmland by a norm-critical approach. This purpose has been fulfilled since a joint change process has been initiated from a norm-critical approach. An increased awareness has been developed and a lack of dynamic meeting places has been identified. The objective has been met and the project idea is supported and confirmed by a large number of actors from the regional innovation system as well as innovators.
Expected long term effects
Opportunities and limiting structures have been identified, and a concept of an inclusive idea hub has been created. It has been a very keen interest in the project and its workshops from both organisations from the innovation system and innovators. The workshops has been marked by a distinct need and great energy to work on the issue. Main effect is that the this project will be the basis for a major innovation project where an education initiative of the established innovation system and an inclusive idea hub will be implemented.
Approach and implementation
The format of having four separate workshops with different target groups and a joint final workshop for all participants was very successful. This enabled that knowledge was created with different perspectives on limited structures and opportunities. This is also the basis for developing a future innovation project from a norm-critical perspective. The project has been characterized by a large and decisive commitment from project team members. The team has conducted several meetings and the group has been involved in planning, recruitment and processing of results.
