Important results from the project
I Heat You helps women to keep warm in their day to day life with stylish fashion products in heated textiles. Our two first products are a heated sitting pad, Heather, to heat the bum and lower back and a scarf, Scarlet, that is also possible to use as a vest or a blanket. In this project we have brought the two I Heat You products from the sketching table and "home made" prototypes to produce working and ready to use prototypes together with a producer. Thanks to the fundings from Vinnova, I Heat You have been able achieve these goals and are ready to pre-launch Heather shortly.
Expected long term effects
I Heat You will shortly pre-launch the portable and heated sitting pad Heather to help women with deceases like urethritis and endometriosis or issues like back pains or menstrual cramps. We will also start recruiting key positions to the Visby office and then build our sales channels and later launch Scarlet.
Approach and implementation
The project has been realized through four steps. We have: 1) Straighten out technical and design related preconditions together with producers in the EU. 2) Produced prototypes together with EU producers. 3) Validated prototypes with focus groups and medical personal. 4) Secured production chain together with EU producers.
