Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** In accordance with aim and objective, National museum of Science and Technology in Sweden has created the immersive exhibition Hyper Human, which arouses curiosity, questions and fascination. The exhibition addresses some of the challenges that technological development presents us with. But above all, it also raises hopes for a better life for more people. The exhibition brings together history, the present and thoughts about the future. The visitor gets ethical and democratic challenges, where every choice has consequences.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The exhibition covers 600 sqm and is shown for 5 years. Studies show satisfied and committed visitors who appreciate the exhibition´s method where the visitor is invited to an immersive experience between science and art. The impact in the media has been very positive. During periods when the museum had to be kept closed due to the pandemic, a digital offer has been produced, which has been used extensively by various visitor groups. project, among other things, the museum has increased its interest in Life Science and will open a branch on the theme 2024.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The museum has worked closely with SMER - the Swedish Medical Ethics Council, companies, universities and organizations. Various seminars, workshops have been held to test questions. A prototype was developed and tested at Almedalen, Internetdagarna, Gather Festival and schools. Collaboration with, among others, Nyckelvikskolan and KTH as well as with a number of companies has led to the development of several parts of the exhibition. In addition to the physical design, digital platforms have been developed for experiences and collection.
