Project duration May 2026 - November 2026
Status Ongoing
Venture Acceleration of deep tech companies

Purpose and goal

The project develops Hektar – an AI platform for early urban planning – from a tool that provides value for individual projects to a learning system where knowledge is accumulated over time. By structured logging of design choices and linking it to simulated outcomes (daylight, sun hours), a project intelligence is built that makes each new project better than all the previous ones. The goal is for Hektar to drive actual project progress and help users reach approved concepts faster.

Expected effects and result

By the end of the project, Hektar has supported at least 100 completed projects from inception to approved concept. The platform has then accumulated design choices and simulation results – a growing proprietary data warehouse. At least three simulation types deliver results in real time and at least three typology patterns are validated. The effect is a cumulative value that grows for the individual, the organization and the industry, making each new project better than all the previous ones.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is being implemented in three activities May–November 2026. Activity 1 (May–June): a log is built that captures decisions and links them to the project´s indicators; users can also upload plan documents. Activity 2 (July–Sept): a simulation engine in.NET with three simulation types – sunlight hours, daylight and distance analysis – links design choices to outcomes. Activity 3 (Sept–Nov): logs and simulations are linked to a pattern recognition module that is validated with users.
