Important results from the project

The goals were met through well-executed delegations in Sweden and Singapore that created concrete contacts and continued dialogue in strategically selected areas such as; AI in healthcare, clinical trials and the ATMP area, among others. In addition, important results emerged, in the form of research collaboration between one of our participating companies and the Experimental Drug Development Centre in Singapore. The contact network was expanded to include more biotech contacts and investors.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to strengthen long-term relationships between Swedish and Singaporean actors in life science. Through deeper system understanding, established investment and research contacts, and continued dialogue, better conditions are created for joint projects, international expansion, and sustainable growth in precision health.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented as a coherent exchange between the countries, where adelegation trip was followed by an incoming visit to Sweden. The project aimed to create continuity in the dialogue and deepen relationships between the countries. The outgoing delegation to Singapore focused on biotech and precision health and enabled meetings with relevant actors. This was followed by an incoming visit with programme in Sthlm/Gbg with university hospitals, research environments and companies.
