Important results from the project

During our trip to Singapore, we established valuable contacts and gained inspiration for integrated healthcare solutions. We were particularly impressed by a hospital control center using real-time data to optimize resources, inspiring us to develop similar applications. We see potential in using AI to match staff and patients and to improve hygiene practices through real-time monitoring. The trip provided new ideas for research and innovation to strengthen Swedish healthcare and social care.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to produce long-term effects in the form of increased efficiency and quality in healthcare through integrated and data-driven solutions. By implementing AI-based systems for staff and patient matching as well as real-time monitoring of hygiene routines, care resources can be optimized and care-related infections can be reduced. In addition, Sweden´s innovation power and competitiveness in health care are strengthened at both national and international level.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out according to plan with the right activities to achieve the objectives. The trip to Singapore provided valuable contacts and insights into integrated healthcare solutions. The schedule was kept and the collaboration worked well, with committed parties both in Sweden and Singapore. Some unexpected insights, particularly around the use of real-time data and AI, broadened the project´s focus.
