Important results from the project
The purpose of this Vinnova project was, to formulate a competitive proposal for the Topic: HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION-01-03, Laser-based technologies for green manufacturing (Photonics - Made in Europe Partnerships) (RIA) within the Horizon Europe call "HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION-01", that aligns with Vinnova´s "Sustainable Industry". Milestones for the project were the establishment of a consortium, an EU project plan, a budget and to finalize a proposal. In conclusion, the project successful.
Expected long term effects
The outcome of this Vinnova project is an established and competitive consortium, a well-prepared EU project plan and a thoroughly worked through budget. The tangible result is in the form of a complete proposal to Topic: HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION-01-03, Laser-based technologies for green manufacturing (Photonics - Made in Europe Partnerships) (RIA). The outcome of the project is therefore successful.
Approach and implementation
The project work consisted of establishing a consortium, agreeing on an EU project plan, a budget and writing an application to an Horizon Europe call for proposals. The work was led by the project coordinator by inviting prospective parties to the consortium via separate meetings and later arranging a workshop where specified work packages, objective, sub-goals were concretized, and responsibilities were distributed. The work was managed through regular meetings. The parties regularly contributed with texts and feedback to the proposal text, plan, and budget.
