Important results from the project
Yes, we successfully implemented and fulfilled all the sub-objectives of the award (project): (1) To draw attention to the importance of research in the areas of entrepreneurship and small business. (2) To stimulate and promote research in the areas of entrepreneurship and small business. (3) To disseminate cutting-edge research among academics, entrepreneurs, politicians and practitioners involved in small business development and the promotion of productive entrepreneurship.
Expected long term effects
The award connects the world´s most prominent entrepreneurship researchers to Sweden. This gives Swedish environments for research and doctoral education access to a highly qualified network of previous recipients. The existing network consists of over 20 active researchers in the field. These have shown great willingness to engage in further contacts and exchanges for policy seminars, for quality assurance of dissertation projects and further collaborations with Swedish environments.
Approach and implementation
For all three years, the following was carried out: The Prize Committee´s work on selecting the laureates. Prize ceremony and networking dinner; meetings with relevant decision-makers; "tour" with seminars and lectures at Swedish universities. Dissemination of research results through scientific publications, press releases, debate articles and interviews. Open lectures, recording and dissemination in own and other channels, podcasts, social media.
