Call Advanced digitalization: System-changing initiatives, pre-study project 2025

Purpose and goal

The project aims to create a plan for a collaborative project that accelerates the transformation of industry through digitalisation, with a focus on test environments and scalable solutions. The goal is to build a national, cross-sectoral consortium that identifies challenges and develops solutions that can serve as system demonstrators and strengthen Swedish competitiveness.

Expected effects and result

The feasibility study will result in concrete decision-making data and strategies for further development and implementation of digital energy solutions within industrial electrification. • A report that serves as a decision-making basis. • A mobilization of a consortium where key players have been identified and agreed on a roadmap. • A plan for a system demonstrator where industry is integrated into a flexible, sustainable and digitally optimized energy system.

Planned approach and implementation

The work packages consist of the following phases: AP1-Projektledning: Overall management and coordination of all activities. AP2-Fördjupande phase: Deep dive into the conditions together with need owners to identify challenges and opportunities. AP3-Mobiliserande phase: Actively open up to the outside world, investigate external opportunities and engage new actors. AP4-Utvecklingsfas: Prioritize and develop the identified opportunities together for potential follow-up projects.
