Important results from the project
From Scope to Scale has supported developers in their transition to climate-neutral construction. The goal was to create confidence in testing new ways of working, making climate-related decisions and spreading knowledge between actors. New knowledge from the thematic meetings and the chosen method for implementing the Byggherreforum is compiled in a guide and a short process – so that more people can take part in the method.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to have several positive effects in the long term. By giving developers increased knowledge and security, better conditions are created for setting eligibility requirements, testing new solutions and working more circularly in future projects. In the long term, the project´s results may lead to a lower climate footprint from construction projects, increased use of recycled products and materials, and, not least, better collaboration between public and private actors.
Approach and implementation
A planning group developed the content for each forum meeting. Some people were present all the time to provide continuity, while others were replaced according to the theme to ensure the right expertise. The developers participated less in the planning than planned but contributed actively during the meetings with good examples and in the discussions.
